Audio bar out of sync with tv4/19/2023 This could fix any weird bugs that are causing the issues you are experiencing.įind the power cord going into the back of the TV and unplug it. If nothing else has worked for you and you are still experiencing audio sync issues, another solution may be to restart your TV. If your remote has an Audio Sync button, then you can press +/- under Audio Sync to control the sound delay. If you have an Audio Sync button, you can use the Skip Forward and Skip Backward buttons to adjust the audio sync. The Sound Control button will allow you to use the left and right buttons to adjust the audio on the sound bar coming from the TV. Check your user manual to see if your remote has some of the following options. If you have a Sony sound bar to go along with your TV, you may have some sound adjustment options on your remote. Ensure that the correct input is selected, then check to see if the audio is in sync again. Plug the power cord back into the sound bar and let it power on. This will give time for all of the power that was in the sound bar to go away. Remove the power plug from the soundbar and leave it unplugged for 20-30 seconds. To restart the sound bar, find the power plug coming into the soundbar. The first thing to try is restarting the soundbar. If none of the solutions above fixes the problem, move on to troubleshooting the soundbar. You can do a few things to ensure that the issue is with your sound bar and not with your TV. Select Update Now to search for and install the latest software version for your TV. In settings, look for Support and then select Software Update. Select the Settings option from the menu. To check for new software updates, press the home button on your remote to bring up the Smart Hub. Sometimes you need to force your TV to update manually to ensure that you have the latest software version. Like computers, phones, tablets, and some other electronic devices, Samsung TVs have software that needs updating every so often to fix bugs. You can also switch ports with your sound bar to see if that helps. If you are still seeing audio delay issues, try changing sources. Inspect the wires to make sure they are still in working order. Check the Cables, Ports and TV Sourceĭisconnect everything from the TV, unplug it and let everything cool off for over 60 seconds. This is especially useful if you notice the sync issues take place after you adjusted a setting. This will reset your sound back to factory settings. Once in the settings app, go to Expert Settings just like you did with the Digital Output Audio Delay settings. On your remote, press the Home button to open the Smart Hub. With Samsung TVs, you can reset your sound to ensure that everything is back to its original settings. Sometimes electronics just need a good reset to get everything functioning correctly. You can move the slider left or right to fix audio delay issues. On the Expert Settings, you will see Digital Output Audio Delay. If you press the home button on your remote, you will be able to access the settings menu from the Smart Hub on your TV.įrom there, look for Sound settings and then Expert Settings. NOTE: Use the Sound Bar's HDMI IN jack when connecting a Blu-ray Disc player, cable box, or similar device to the Sound Bar.Samsung TVs typically have some settings that you can change to fine-tune the TV for your specific needs. Blu-ray Disc player, cable box, satellite box, etc. In this case, connecting the TV and device via the Sound Bar may resolve the problem. When playing audio from a Blu-ray Disc player, cable box, or similar device with the Sound BarĪudio and video may be out of sync if audio is played from the Sound Bar when a Blu-ray Disc player, cable box, or similar device is connected directly to a TV with an HDMI cable.
